TUSCALOOSA — Don’t call it a controversy.

Nick Saban prefers downplaying what he simply called a competition for the starting quarterback position currently up for grabs.

And the contest between AJ McCarron and Phillip Sims is just one of the issues facing the Crimson Tide as it opens the first of 15 spring practices today at 3:30 p.m. in Tuscaloosa.

Oh I'm not near Anniston at all! I'm in the Florida Panhandle, right outside Pensacola.  I have a couple of Alabama news links on my homepage and found that one :)

Oh, ok. they are very good on sports and I am about 20 miles from them. They are the munster paper here, we read it all the time. RTR!
