Title: Daily Reading 12/7/11 Not dividing Gods' children Post by: ricky023 on December 07, 2011, 11:01:17 AM "James 2:1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. 2. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
3. And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: 4. Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? We see many people today in and out of the Churches that make this mistake. When we have true Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, then all are equal in the eyes of God. If you extend hospitality to one above another, then you are making respect of persons over someone that God made. God loves us all equally. When you make a division of one over another you turn God's children into less than they were meant to be. There are Churches today that make a difference in the way people looks, or how much money is set to gain admission. God will not honor these these types of relationships between his children. You are not a church anymore but a country club where your money or looks sets you above others. Today do not make your heart a house of division make all equal in your eyes just like Christ. God Bless! Father we ask for forgiveness today of our failures. We Praise you for your love and compassion. Make our lives today reflect the Word of God and may our walk demonstrate love and compassion. In the name of Jesus i pray.
