You know the cast of stiff-armed characters.  They’re a familiar lot.

From Luck to Richardson to RGIII to Moore to Barkley to James to even a Honey Badger, the same names have littered the chase for the 2011 Heisman Trophy for most of the season.  One name conspicuously absent from all but the periphery of the discussion?  Montee Ball.

And that’s a da#@ shame.  Borderline criminal in a sports sense, even.

This Ball guy will hurt TR's chances at the Heisman.  He'll get votes from the midwest.  This Heisman vote is going to be VERY CLOSE.

Closest vote ever: HTWMI

Yeah, hope that's a good sign.  Frankly, despite the press I'm dubious.  There's lots of love for Luck, especially after all of the first-pick-in-the-draft talk.

I have no idea how this one will turn out, but I am still optimistic.  But no where near as confident as I am about the BCS.
