Title: "Alabama 'looking for full redemption' as it prepares for Auburn" Post by: Chechem on November 21, 2011, 06:36:00 AM Quote TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - Perhaps the day will come when Alabama players stop thinking or hearing about Nov. 26, 2010. But today, like yesterday and tomorrow, the Crimson Tide remembers. All year, this team has been reminded. All week, a 28-27 loss to Auburn will continue to be cussed and discussed. "It's still on our minds what happened last year," Alabama senior center William Vlachos said. "It's something I probably think about every day." http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/11/no_2_alabama_looking_for_full.html Title: Re: "Alabama 'looking for full redemption' as it prepares for Auburn" Post by: SUPERCOACH on November 21, 2011, 08:38:52 AM I expect the most lopsided iron bowl of my lifetime. We will see.

The barners will be pumped. They'll throw all their trickeration crap at us the first half like they did 2 years ago and I think it will be close at the half, but Bama blows them out the 2nd half. Can't wait! My line of thinking is very similar. They'll likely burn us on a trick play or two, then hopefully a couple will blow up in their faces (interceptions) and we'll put the nail in the coffin. AJ may have 250+ yards. They will sell out to stop TR. I don't expect that to change. I would be suprised if AU scores on a trick play this year.

They so embarrassed us last year at home can we return the favor. I think so, but I do not look for a blow-out. I think it will be a closer game than the experts think. RTR!

That may be the only slide in the loop this week. In the end, Alabama doesn't need to come out emotionally high and pumped up on adrenaline to win. They just need to be focused and prepared. |
