Did the two Penn State officials facing charges they helped to hide a report of sexual assault on campus get bad legal advice? Up until about a week before charges were filed against athletic director Tim Curley and Vice President Gary Schultz, they didn’t have their own attorneys. Instead, they relied on the advice of former state Supreme Court Justice Cynthia Baldwin, the university’s first in-house counsel.
