Title: Barn Releases Records on a Slow (LOL) News Day...
Post by: BAMAWV on November 05, 2011, 12:40:39 PM
...to make sure everyone sees these records being cleared up.

If you instead would prefer the BAMAWV Cliff's Notes version:

No way did the barn prove $cam innocent. The NCAA could not come up with any written proof that $cam knew his father was representing him in Starkville. So while everyone and their brother knows an NCAA violation occurred, the governing body could not produce the necessary proof of a WRITTEN CONTRACT between a kid and his Dad.

The Barn released all the documents except the ones they had shredded.

Yep. Even "all records" is subjective in their world and open to interpretation.

I have several problems with the way the NCAA handled the $cam case. But when did the NCAA have to have proof? Resonable doubt has always been enough for them. Anyone who thinks $cam did not know his Father was shopping him to the highest bidder is an ignorant fool. Ask any school in the country outside of the barn and they will tell you $cam was bought and paid for.

Exactly. If I'm shopping my kid to the highest bidder, it is illogical to think my kid knows nothing about what I'm doing. Especially, if he thinks he's going to play for one team and ends up with another. It stinks and everyone with half a brain knows it.
