Title: Bible Reading 10/27/11 Change in heart
Post by: ricky023 on October 27, 2011, 12:35:37 PM
"2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

This one of the best scriptures to show if a man is truly Saved or not. We don't know a mans' heart everybody including me say, but "he is a new creature." So if this person continues to do the same worldly things, did he get Saved? If he goes to the altar and only ask for forgiveness 20 times is he Saved?
"Old things are passed away" so then he had hatred he becomes "love". If he was cussing and liked naked women all over his walls, computer, and his mouth did he get Saved if he is not a new creature.
Man loves to be boastful, prideful, Mr. Big, and he does not change, did his trip to the altar do anything for him? Scripture says 'all things become new." We must come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and we become Christ-like. Think about if your truly saved or not, if you have not changed you might want to read this scripture more often. God Bless!

Father thank you for your love, and caring heart. Lord may we learn your word and become Christ-like. Keep us safe and in your Word constantly of Lord. In the name of Jesus our Lord and Saviour I pray. AMEN
