2stater - I agree.  I don't want to hear a bunch of whining about "if we'd only had Colt"!!!

So we can call this "The Hat's synthetic loophole."  Why am I not surprised.  But it all smells a little too much like how Ohio St started.

I hate that Auburn is getting a little bit of a break today but I'm not gonna lie...if nothing else came out of this but Trent Richardson having one less person standing between him and the Heisman, I'm good.  I live in Texas and I kid you not, a waiter saw me watching a game on T.V. and struck up the conversation and it all led to him finding out I was an Alabama fan and saying "If Colt..."  :deadhorse: I said "well, I didn't realize Colt played on the defense that let us score all those points, but whatever helps you sleep at night."  End of conversation  :)  I know too many LSU fans and If Alabama wins I don't want to hear the whining and excuses.

Also don't forget to mention that our QB played with BROKEN ribs.  We have no sympathy for a QB who sits out because he got hit on the funny bone and his arm was numb.  He was throwing just fine on the side line.

I'll tell you what really flusters UTx fans. Start out with, "I know y'all don't follow football much, at least not the way we do, but...". That'll make their heads explode. From that point on you're just sweeping up debris!

I like that strategy: "I know y'all don't follow football much, at least not the way we do, but our QB actually played with broken ribs in that game.  So we don't have much sympathy for a QB that leaves the game because he was hit on the funny bone and his arm was numb."

Y'all have a great tradition, like Baylor or even A&M, so you'll kinda know what I'm talking about...

No doubt football is big out there, like not so much in the last 40 years, but it used to be where Texas was up there...

It's not really like the Auburn-Alabama game, but each year y'all play somebody big, like Nebraska--well that's not a good example 'cause they've been out of it as long as Texas has, but...well whomever

I'd take Texas over 'bout anyone. Y'all are pretty big like ND. Well maybe not lately but...

Seems y'all are always up there in recruiting,...like the players don't care about wins and losses, they want to play for Texas...

{I've been consulting, exclusively, for a company in Houston. Over 1/2 are Longhorn fans. It is a balancing act between having fun with them and getting fired}
