Title: Spiritual Growth: Dealing with Sin
Post by: bamaphil on October 20, 2011, 10:01:07 PM
I've started a blog where I'll be posting stuff related to what I'm teaching occasionally.  The first is in the link below.

Quote
I hope that as a follower of Jesus you have a sincere desire to be free from sin.  The good news is that you one day will be.  The bad news is that that day has not yet come.  While we have already been set free from the penalty of sin through faith in Jesus, between now and the day we go home to be with the Lord we will continue to battle sin in our lives.  We are in a lifelong process of being set free from the power of sin in our lives and becoming more like Jesus, called sanctification.  This process is not always easy or fast.  Below are some practical guidelines for dealing with sin.

Great job. Thanks so much for explaining sin in another very good way. Well all know we have sin but something has dig our heart and conscience so that we ask for forgiveness.
Doing the same sin over and over every day by day is not good. God says in his word that at sometime he may turn you over to a reprobate mind that the flesh can be destroyed so the soul can be saved. This is a lesson I look forward to learning and studying with you. God Bless, my brother!
