Title: ESPN: Re-ranking the SEC's best 25 players Post by: Coach Hank Crisp on October 13, 2011, 02:17:02 PM http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/30444/re-ranking-the-secs-best-25-players-2
Quote We all deserve a second chance. Wouldn’t you love to go back to high school, knowing then what you do now? We’re getting a second chance on the SEC blog to rank the top 25 players in this league based on what they’ve done the first half of this season. Edward’s already unveiled his updated list. Now, I roll out mine. Probably my biggest regret concerning the one we did in the preseason was that we didn’t have more LSU players on it. We only had one (cornerback Morris Claiborne), and that was an obvious whiff. But what do a bunch of bloggers know, right? Here goes with my midseason re-ranking of the SEC’s top 25 players: Title: Re: ESPN: Re-ranking the SEC's best 25 players Post by: BAMAWV on October 13, 2011, 02:49:33 PM Barrett Jones has been great at left tackle. But what is more remarkable is his versatility. He is like the Swiss army knife of OL.
I'm not sure who to pick as the best off our "D". I'm not sure who to pick as best out of our defensive backfield. No punters were included in this guy's top 25, so I can only assume Cody Mandell was just overlooked. He will likely go in the first 10 of the NFL draft. That red wine must be kicking in. Title: Re: ESPN: Re-ranking the SEC's best 25 players Post by: bamaphil on October 13, 2011, 07:16:24 PM Hightower is definitely too low. I get the feeling they didn't want to overload the top with Bama players.
