so we wait ....

LoL,we've been waiting. Seems like years instead of a few months that all of this really hit the mainstream. I grew weary of reading blog after blog on awbren. I do however think there is something to all of this,or the barn wouldn't be trying so HARD to cover things up. Soon as something new hits the media, they're all over it trying to squash it. Then again, who wouldn't be,guilty or not. Like you said,wait.......

I'm starting to think that either this is for real or that this is one of the most well-organized, most collaborative, most Kingpin-worthy Internet hoaxes ever.  The following post is from a poster who has seemed to me to be trustworthy, in spite of his sceen name.

Posts: 90 I took it upon myself to email the attorney Phil Abernathy and ask him myself if the letter is legitimate. This is what I wrote:

There is a letter that is claimed to have come from you. It can be seen at this location: https://auburngate.com/b/discussion/comment/2389/#Comment_2389

Would it be possible for you to take a look at this letter and verify that it has in fact come from you and that it hasn't been modified?

The best case scenario would be to contact the administrator of that site to let him know in case he needs to remove it. You can also reply to this email as well if you prefer. To contact the site's administrator you can use their contact page at https://auburngate.com/contact.php

Thanks for any and all help you can provide.

He responded within 30 minutes with this reply:

It is my letter.

I loved this part of the letter:

"Bond has given interviews to the NCAA, The FBI, and a state regulator with regards to the contacts made during the recruiting of Cam Newton."

Should I post this on an Auburn site at scout.com or elsewhere?

 ;)

the attorney is a contruction lawyer, and also deals in commercial litigation. All I want to say is read the letter carefully people. No where does it mention *u. It mentions newton and his recruitment. To what school, the letter does not say. This is where you have to really think. This is carefully worded for a reason. Also one version of the letter has a different date as was shown on another site before it was edited by the poster. Why, who knows.... I just wish Mr. Moore would let the process run its course and stop trying to get his name involved. If these 3 investigations are really going on, then there is no reason for Mr. Moore to put info out. It will play out to all our expectations. The more he gets his name involved the less credible is sounds after he and WZZN "parted ways" If *u is involved GREAT!! But I think it also may deal with another ag school
Caveat Emptor.
