Title: Alabama vs Mississippi State in SEC Tourney Friday
Post by: Marshal Dillon on March 11, 2021, 09:24:52 PM
Tough, tough game for Tide. MSU can’t hit 3’s but they are effective around the basket and they have a big team that is very physical. We need to hit some 3’s to get them off balance. Petty needs to break out of shooting slump.

Tide has started out in an excellent manner. Tide defense is alert and quick and overpowering MSU right now. Tide 18 MSU 7. Tide 4/11 3 pointers.

Tide 75 MSU 41  5:16 left. Thank goodness Petty and Herb Jones are out of game. We’ve already lost Primo to possible injury. Could hear him scream on the TV.

Well done but now we have to win 2 more in a row. Can we do that? We were rested some for this game and I think it showed. RTR!

Sounds like both us and Tennessee may have lost a player today

Just saw the replay of the UT player getting hurt. They need to kick that UF player off the team. That's as dirty as it gets.

Here's the latest on Josh Primo.

Quote
Midway through the second half, Primo grabbed his knee while guarding a Mississippi State player. He dropped to the floor and shouted in pain.

He was taken off the floor by athletic trainers and helped into the tunnel at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

"We don’t know on Primo yet," Oats said. "Hopefully, he can play tomorrow (against the Florida-Tennessee winner). Hopefully it's not much. We’ll wait on that MRI."
