Title: Mike Leach says Bama is "Mean" Post by: Merk on October 03, 2011, 05:17:17 PM Listened to a little of CFB with Mike Leah and Jack Arute (sp) on Sirius today. They were both discussing the game Saturday giving us some love. Mike Leach meant the "mean" statement as a compliment to our team. He went on to say that Saban has done what all coaches should do in that they should make their teams play the way bama played against the Gators; on the edge.
I've always liked Leach and thought he got a bum deal at TT. One thing is for sure, they were impressed with the Tide this weekend. He and Jack make a great team.

He is a great offensive coach. I agree with him that you need to be a little "mean" to play and win big in the SEC. I would rather be called "mean" than "soft" anyday.
