Title: Alabama Coaches Name Eight Players of the Week Following Florida Win Post by: pmull on October 03, 2011, 01:31:35 PM Eight Alabama players were recognized for their outstanding play by the coaching staff following the Crimson Tide’s 38-10 win Saturday night at No. 12 Florida as announced by head coach Nick Saban. Tailback Trent Richardson, center William Vlachos and guard Chance Warmack were named players of the week on offense while linebackers Courtney Upshaw and Alex Watkins represented the defense. On special teams, Marquis Maze, Brad Smelley and Vinnie Sunseri were selected.

It was a first down completion so cant really complain.

It was a first down completion so cant really complain. I did see that. That is one example, I think AJ has trouble seeing the field. i can look at it again and be more specific. I know MW caught the pass on the right side and BS was running down the other seam and looked to be wide open. Bama had just held UF after the Upshaw return. It also looked like BS had leverage on the DB when AJ threw the ball to KB in the endzone on the first drive. I will say Bama may have gotten lucky on the TD run by TR. It did not look like the rec was set for a count before Hanks went in motion.
