I like Jalen and I’m happy that Coach is giving him a chance. If not for Jalen... who knows if we would have made it to the play offs for the last two years! Having said that, I really like Tua too!!! RTR

I think he probably will after he graduates in December.

I was a proponent of Hurts getting the start.  That's why Nick Saban gets paid $7 million a year and I don't.  I'm officially on the Tua train.  But Jalen is a winner.  He needs to keep his head in the game because you NEVER know what can happen.  ROLL TIDE!!!!

I don't think there is anybody that can hang with us this year. Having said that, we always seem to have a great opening game and then a letdown after that. I just don't see that with Tua, though. I'm definitely strapped in and ready for this ride.

I would normally go with that as well. But, with the mistakes and penalties, I'm thinking CNS is going have a major ”teaching moment”  with the team that may motivate them for the next game.   ???

Kirk Herbstreit in post game said something like "CNS coaches more and gets more upset with mistakes with a big lead than he does in a 3 point game. This is going to be a hard year on him because they are going to beat everyone like this."

Chris Fowler: "They have 500 yds of offense. If they had not taken their foot on the gas it could be 800."

This is going to be a fun year.

When I first ready your comment I thought to myself, "We didn't really have that many penalties."  But then I went and checked.  We actually had 10 penalties for 111 yards while Louisville had 11 for  93 yards.  I know we gave up 35 yards in penalty yards on their scoring drive otherwise I don't think they would have been able to on that drive.  Yeah, you are right, Saban is going to "teach" them A LOT this week... For once, I'm glad that I am not a football player on his team...  :panic:

Not that worried about the penalties. It was the first game of the year and those happened to every team that played yesterday. Besides, about a third of those calls were BS. The one that wasn't?......Well, let's just say Mr. Miller will have to work his way out of the doghouse.  :lol2:

Yeah. What bugged me was all the personal fouls which is uncharacteristic of a Nick Saban coached football team. I wouldn't want to be Miller this week, either.  :-[

Yeah, players were chippy on both sides. Our guys have to rise above that.

Well CNS might have gotten a personal foul at the end of the game if that girl reporter would have said something to him about the QB's again, rofl. RTR!
