Why?  She has probably been singing it since she was a little girl.

"Oh McDonald had a farm
E-I-E-I-O!"

In high school, one of my best friend's father was our shop/ag teacher, FFA sponsor, and of course an Auburn grad.  We were getting ready for an FFA land judging competition my senior year, and he'd called in a fellow Auburn alum from the state cooperative extension service to help the team.  We were sitting around in his office, five or six of my buddies and the two Auburn alums, and my friend's dad said, "Mr. Harper, Hannibal over there is going to Alabama.  They gave him a full ride."  Mr. Harper looked at me and said, "You're sure missing out not going to Auburn" to which I deadpanned "Well, I just couldn't pass the entrance exam" while making a cow milking motion with both arms.  I got quite the expression from Mr. Harper!   A few of those guys in the room still tell that story when we get together every few years.
