Title: Bama's Own Coaching Carousel
Post by: McBaman on January 17, 2018, 11:10:59 AM
Didn't know where to put this link and with all that's happening with coaches thought a separate thread would be a good idea.

This is from TS and TNews. They are doing a good job of staying on this story.  I thought there would be some coaching changes after the season but...man...CNS is really shaking things up.  I'm glad he realizes that recruiting is going to be tougher in the future.

Someone is really pumping Aaron Suttles a lot of info recently.  I bet Saban will be going on a mole hunt soon.

I thought the same thing.  Either bad leaks or CNS & Co. want some of this info out there.

Would you think CNS is using the media to his advantage to get some offers from other interested coaches who want a shot at a NC on their resume'? RTR!

Players will be happy with that.

Suttles mentions Chris Weinke as a potential on-field coach.  He did play QB (Heisman winner) and coached QBs one year in the NFL.

Rumors had him going with Pruitt to TN, but he apparently declined.  Apparently CW also is/was being sought after by his alma mater FSU.

Well, hopefully the next news we get is that PSU's WR Coach (Gattis) is joining the Alabama staff to guide Jeudy and other WRs.

I read a couple of articles yesterday that Saban was trying to get Freeze to Tuscaloosa as OC.
It will be interesting to see who finally ends up with the job.  :popcorn2:

Yeah. Read that today. I’m glad he’s the guy. Freeze would be a distraction at best.
