But Stoops retired on June 7, turning the Sooners football program over to Lincoln Riley after compiling a 190-48 record as Oklahoma's coach from 1999 through 2016.

Well I must say I am surprised but I give Stoops his credit of saying what he did. There is not a lot of folks that will that statement. RTR!
