Odds makers say Bama's best shot to make the playoffs is if TCU beats OK in the Big12 CG (with Clemson, Auburn and Wisconsin winning).

I doubt it.  OSU plays Wisconsin for the conference championship.  If OSU wins I expect the CFP committee to put a 2-loss conference champion in ahead of a 1 loss Bama...

The odds makers give it about a 50/50 chance if OSU beats Wisconsin.

In favor of Bama:

Only one loss, on the road to the (now) #2 team in the country.
OSU has two losses, both blowouts (to OK and Iowa).
OSU got a free pass last year as a 1 loss but not conference champ; they lost 31-0 to Clemson
Bama has the best game control stats in the country.

In favor of OSU:

Ohio State lost two games: at home against Oklahoma and on the road by 31 points against Iowa.

Bama lost by 12 with a depleted LB corps on the road against the hottest team in college football.

I'm biased of course, but there doesn't seem to be any case for choosing OSU over Bama should OSU win the Big 10. Bama shouldn't be punished because our conference loss came to the division champion, keeping us out of the SECCG, while Ohio State's loss came to a lesser team and OSU won their division.

But we'll see how it all plays out. :popcorn2:

Plus, who wouldn't want to see Bama vs Clemson Round 3 instead of Clemson vs. OSU Round 2. Rematch of two of the greatest games in college football history or rematch of a 31-0 mauling?

I wonder why no one brings this up.  Vandy beat Kansas State 14-7.  OU beats KSU 42-35.  Bama beats Vandy 59-0.
