Title: Recruiting: Post by: hscoach on October 27, 2017, 05:13:57 PM Is it time to start worrying about Bama recruiting? According to ESPN they are ranked 21st with only 11 commitments while all the teams ahead have around 20+. Plus they are the 8th ranked team in the SEC.

I wonder if this is part of our OL problem, i.e. even though we may have highly rated classed overall, the OL guys we get aren't the top of the class and their athletic ability as linemen is limited. I think last year the same thing happened, where Bama had fewer early identified recruits, but closed the door on everyone by signing day.

But we're behind last year's schedule. We have zero 5-star commits. We'll have to steal some from other teams. Good news is there could be 5-7 coaching changes this year in the SEC, so... |
