Quote Hugh Freeze on Saturday released a public apology to Ole Miss fans, published in letter form by Rivals.com site Rebel Grove. Freeze's apology is the first lengthy public statement he has made since he stepped down as Ole Miss coach on July 20. Freeze was forced to resign after administrators uncovered a "troubling pattern of personal conduct inconsistent to the standards we expect from the leader of our football team," including at least one call to an escort service on his university-issued cell phone. He says nothing specific, claims innocence on most matters, and is still playing the "faith card" and mostly the letter is CYA. Like I said, if his lips are moving, he's lying.
