In the half court offense, to me, there is too much standing around instead of moving to create better shots.  Or even create better passing angles.

Great to see this team stick it out and win a tough game like this. Sounds like it took a full team effort to beat a team that will for sure be in the Big Dance. Well done guys. RTR!

Good point but the game is not until Saturday. Norris played 46 minutes, Johnson 44, Hall 39, Davis 38. USC might be in big trouble, though. Thornwell well played 56 minutes (scored 44), Dozier 54 (scored 21), & Notice 54. They play at Misses State on Saturday which is no gimme. By contrast, Ingram played 30 minutes & Key 26. It will be interesting.

I bet them boys slept well on the flight back to T-Town.

Think CAJ will give them a day off from practice today?

I would like to see them start their half court offense quicker instead of standing outside running valuable seconds off the clock. 

I think CAJ does that on purpose to keep the score low and make sure there's not as many chances for the other team to score.

It was a great win, and hopefully will give the team a confidence boost heading into Kentucky, who's not playing great right now.  The schedule is much easier after this weekend.

I'm impressed by this team's resiliency. They didn't give up after the early season losses, or after the back-to-back losses to Arky and the barn. The NIT is still the most likely destination, but I'm pleased with what CAJ has brewing.

Obviously last night this team showed a lot of "heart."  That's happened a few times this season.  Lots of non-starters got lots of playing time.  I hope that helps them in the remaining games.

There have been some good road wins this year.  That is progress.

Maybe this characteristic will continue in upcoming games.  Their other persona, which we saw against the Aubs, totally lacks heart!

Bama is 4-2 on the road in the SEC so far this season. I like our chances against teams that don't start with 'A'. I don't believe we play anymore 'A' teams. Things might just be looking up.  :lol2:

Sounds about right, a good strategy for a team without great shooters that relies on defense.  With too many possessions, the defense runs out of steam. 

(Same applies to football and running the hurry up offense when you have the #1 defense).

When you put it in football terms it is a lot easier for me to understand.  :lol2:
