Mario Cristobal is leaving the Tide to be the co-offensive coordinator at Oregon, according to multiple reports.

I had heard rumblings about him possibly leaving. Didn't know it would be to Oregon, though.

He really wants to leave this great program to go to a lot less program? Is this honest thinking are someone who has been fooled by talk? Wow, I amazed at this move but it could be good for us. I wish him the best. RTR!

He was the O-line coach before being reassigned to tackles/tight ends. His strength was recruiting, not the play of the O-line.

Oregon was one of the rumored locations he was considering.  This is bad timing (in the midst of recruiting) and CMC is known as a great recruiter.  But, IMHO, I was never impressed with the OLs that he coached so I welcome the chance to get a new approach to our OL.  Something is missing there.

I am curious if CMC leaves when CNS says he is going who CNS will bring in? We need a real time O-Line coach. RTR!

Our O-line hasn't been the same since Jeff Stoutland left for the NFL. He coached the O-line in 2011 & 2012. Nuff said.
