Can you say "Duke Lacrosse"? Not saying that is what the situation is here, but it could be. On the other hand, it could be another Baylor, Tn, ND, Jameis Winston (pick one) situation.

My point was that schools can not allow the student athletes to dictate what they will or will not do especially when it directly involves their participation in the sport that is paying for their education. If they don't want to play then that's fine. They simply lose their scholarship, must repay the costs for such for the current semester and CAN NOT transfer with eligibility IMO... I have a feeling that, like Mizzou, the administration will cave in to the players' demands to avoid short-term financial loss. The result will embolden more teams around the country to threaten boycotts any time they don't get exactly what they want.

I'm just saying there are those that are quick to judge without knowing all the facts, and that I'll reserve my judgement until all is said and done. Personally, I love it. The spineless libs (professors & admins) are paying for their tolerance, understanding, & warm fuzzy feelings.
