Title: Anybody watching the basketball game/PAC Championship game? Post by: hscoach on December 02, 2016, 09:29:54 PM Can't get the basketball game, but following on computer. Watching Washington/Colorado. Neither team looks very physical and they are the top defenses in the PAC.
Title: Re: Anybody watching the basketball game/PAC Championship game? Post by: McBaman on December 02, 2016, 10:04:36 PM Watching Wash/Colo. Agree with your observation. To me they look small & slow compared with SEC. Don't mean disrespect but it feels like you're watching a 'minor league' game.
Loosing QB hurt Colo. Title: Re: Anybody watching the basketball game/PAC Championship game? Post by: hscoach on December 02, 2016, 10:08:12 PM Watching Wash/Colo. Agree with your observation. To me they look small & slow compared with SEC. Don't mean disrespect but it feels like you're watching a 'minor league' game. Loosing QB hurt Colo. The D linemen cant get off blocks. DB's are not real physical coming up like I thought they would. Agreed losing QB hurt. Title: Re: Anybody watching the basketball game/PAC Championship game? Post by: Marshal Dillon on December 02, 2016, 11:01:24 PM Washington definitely not impressive, with limited team speed.

Wash QB is decent. Strong arm and quick release. Wash DBs seem to have decent speed & cover pretty tight. But hard to tell if Colo rec's are just slow. And Colo rec's are definitely poorly coached. I hope Wash stays #4 and we get them in first playoff game. They won't be as physical as PSU or Wisky. Title: Re: Anybody watching the basketball game/PAC Championship game? THIS. But the committee will likely pair them with OSU to ensure a Big10 win. :wall: Title: Re: Anybody watching the basketball game/PAC Championship game? Post by: pmull on December 03, 2016, 06:25:11 AM Alabama lost 77-68. We lead by 12 at the half. Terrible 2nd half. Score was tied with about 5:00 to play and we went stone cold. Settled for 3 point shots which we missed. 10-18 on free throws and out rebounded badly.
Right now we are not a good team. At this rate we will struggle to a .500 record. I hope we can get it turned around. Title: Re: Anybody watching the basketball game/PAC Championship game? Bama-Washington creates an interesting clash of styles, while Clemson-Ohio State is likely to be a great game to watch. Nothing else makes sense. Title: Re: Anybody watching the basketball game/PAC Championship game? Post by: bamaphil on December 03, 2016, 06:37:23 AM I watched the 2nd half of the basketball game. It was the same old story. No offense, poor rebounding, missed free throws. It may be a long year.

Title: Re: Anybody watching the basketball game/PAC Championship game? Post by: hscoach on December 03, 2016, 10:05:47 AM I didn't get to see the game, but followed on computer where it showed a shot chart. Tx scored over 40 points in the 2nd half. According to the shot chart only 9 points came from 3 pt land. The rest of the points came from inside the paint and free throws.

Bama played well at first but then ran out of steam against Texas. I too hope Bama gets Washington in the football playoffs. They aren't too impressive; Bama should be able to handle them without getting too beat up. |
