He never had a real minutes piece and everything went wrong after he did this so he paid for it in the long run. RTR!

I did a little research.  Apparently that never actually happened and the rumor was started by a false report in a newspaper.  The crowd did however chant "Roll Tide" at Coach Fran toward the end of the game.
