Title: Shutout win streaks in the Bama/UT games. Post by: N.AL-Tider on October 14, 2016, 08:49:37 AM I was curious and did some research about shutouts in our games against UT. There have actually been several over the years. The best though is:
9 conservative shutouts from 1903 to 1913 except 1910 &1911 when they didn't play. All but one (1904) were Bama wins. I moved to Chatt after grad from the U, and them !@#$%%$#@! hillbillies beat us for 5 years running! My mailbox was painted orange, my truck hubcaps were painted orange, I had to wear a sing around my neck with the score, I had to stand on my desk and sing rocky flop, even had to dye my underwear orange one year..all stupid bets with co-workers. Some of you will remember out dear AD, Bill Battle was the coach for the viles back then!
