Quote
Coming home had a new meaning for former Crimson Tide and New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath.
Namath is one of 10 Hall of Famers who will be recognized this year by the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of its "Hometown Hall of Famers" program.
Namath, who is from Beaver Falls, Pa. seem to be humbled by the honor. He talked more about this honor in USA Today.
"I'm embarrassed, to be honest," said he said. "The quarterback gets the spotlight, but I was just part of something special. You want recognition, but you learn the importance of being around other people. I know it's not all about me. Things start at home and I didn't grow up beating my chest and saying I'm great."

Willie Joe is and has always been a good man. I know one thing Coach Bryant put him on the bench and showed him the Lite Way. lol, How he stole him from Joe Paterno or no it was him but whoever was at PSU, Coach was good. RTR!
