Title: "Alabama Week 3: Monday practice report"

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - Penn State is in the rearview mirror. North Texas is ahead. What a difference a week should make at Alabama, but to the football team's credit, practice today seemed no different than practice a week ago. Game time Saturday is 6:30 p.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will be televised by Fox Sports South.

News of the day

Yes, wide receiver Duron Carter is at practice. If it's starting to look as if he might not be cleared by the NCAA to play this season, you can't tell by watching the wide receiver drills. The junior college transfer is taking his turns as if he is prepping to play this week. After working with the scout team the past two weeks, senior returning starter Darius Hanks is back to wearing No. 15, his regular number. He had to sit out the first two games because he played in one game when he was redshirted as a true freshman. He will make his 2011 debut against North Texas.

CNS sounds actually happy in this write-up. I love hearing that injury report. Injuries as all knows can kill a champion type team. I just hope we are going to be ready for the speed of the sEC after the little games are over. RTR!
