I can pinpiont the reason Alabama lost the last 2 years and it was not Freeze or any of the false junk he is filling up the room with. Look at the game,
1. Alabama mistakes
2. Alabama mistakes.
3. Alabama mistakes.
Can you think of any other reason they beat us? RTR!

4.  Effort.  Ole Miss played harder.
5.  Concentration.  We didn't pay attention (see below):

6.  Luck.  I hope their game plan includes trying to repeat the trick shot TD off a DB's helmet.

, thrown up for grabs while their QB was being sacked by 2 Alabama D-line players following a bad snap.

They had their fair share of luck with the bounce pass off the helmet as well as the no call on lineman downfield on passing plays.  Couple this with the Bama mistakes and you have Ole Miss victories.

It's the Bear.  Bring back old Colonel Reb, please.

I have a neighbor who's convinced that Ole Miss is suffering from "the curse of the Colonel" for abandoning Colonel Reb.

He drags that out whenever they lose to Memphis, Arkansas, Florida...

 :dunno:

We need to see a sharper team than what we saw last Saturday. I'm guessing with the public ass-chewing, Saban got everyone's attention. It's those types of mistakes that did us in the last 2 years. Good solid D, minimal penalties and no turnovers should be enough to win.

Focus, guys, focus!!!

So, it's not "curse of the missing elephant", or some such?

You mean we aren't like Ga and have Roman numerals after each elephant's name?  :dunno:

Now that Ringling's has retired their elephants, we ought to get one cheap.

I watched CNS's presser today and he seemed 'somewhat' pleased with the teams effort this week. He's also downplaying the revenge factor treating the game as just another step on the road.

Another game? rofl, Man I would HATE to be a player on this team if they lose to OM this time around. He may make them run laps to Birmingham and back everyday. We lost to Bowdon, Ga in 1971 and the next week we run the bleachers everyday. come that Friday night we beat Wadley 56-0. We broke thir best RB' leg in 2 places on the opening kickoff. For some reason Coach Robinson did not like to lose, very much like CNS. RTR!

There could be broken bones in this game too, Ricky.  But after Drake had his broken against Ole Miss, it's time for them to lose a few!

In the first loss, I think we had 3 turnovers. In the 2nd loss we had 5 turnovers & 2 fluke plays (football off DB helmet) for touchdown. Forgot about deliberately sending O-lineman more than 3 yards downfield to sucker defense because officials were not paying attention to lineman & Ole Miss knew that. Like 2stater says, focus, then execute. We do that & Ole Miss is toast. Even with 5 turnovers & fluke plays, they only won by 6 points.
