I still think something is wrong with DeShaun Watson, some type of nagging injury or something else. The Clemson we saw against the Barn & now Troy is not the Clemson of last year. They have 8 returning starters on offense, so what's the problem?

 ???

Look at Clemson's results last year. The Clemson that showed up for OU and Bama was not the Clemson of the regular season.

Clemson won the NC in what?  1981?  Since then they have "sometimes" been a decent team.  The last three games they played were all against teams from the State of Alabama (well, except for the Booger eaters of West Georgia)  ;)  and they lost, struggled for a win and struggled for the first half.  I think they are just back to being Clemson...  :lol2:

Hadn't thought about this until now:  After Texas, LSU (to some degree), ND and now maybe Clemson lost NC games to Bama, they all took a step back the following year.  Maybe that's what's happening with Clemson.

Whatever, something's not right there.

They weren't very dominant early last year either.  They'll be okay.

They are coasting right now.  What they haven't figure out yet is that coasting is not part of the process.  If they want to be their absolute best at the end of the year, they have to be getting better even when they are playing these cupcakes.  If they go into the FSU game with a few kinks in the system they will be sitting on the outside looking in this year.

And yes, I called Auburn a cupcake.  :lol2:

Well sir I won't apologize but i think the cupcake part is right. I would right now say we won't see clemson or us in the NC game if we play another game like we did Sat. Yes, I know the score but if that had been a decent team we would be hurting this morning I am afraid. Consistency that is what CNS and I like to see. Next time I will get on to coach though about hammering CLK on TV. lol, RTR!
