I said that the MSU defense would have problems when they got to the SEC.  Unfortunately that is turning out to be true.

I'm impressed with the Auburn special teams. The are keeping MSU pinned deep in their territory and the AU return game gives AU good field position. This affects how each team can run their offense. The AU offense hasn't really done much, but the field position is making a huge difference.

MSU has to be happy that they're only 7 points behind despite all their mistakes and poor field position most of the game. Conversely, Auburn can't expect to have MSU keep making mistakes, getting all the breaks for themselves, and having great field position the entire 2nd half.

Auburn is winning just what they need to. They have 2 games standing between them and the SECCG, that is LSU and Alabama. I think they may be better than I first thought. Just showing enough to wini. RTR!

I'm not worried about them, I was just hoping they would smack Auburn down this week.

I don't know if Utah State is good and State is bad. Too early to tell. One thing is for sure, they have a tougher schedule this year.

I thought Mullins pulled a Les Miles in clock management.

Is that what happened?  I didn't see the very end.

MS State was down by a touchdown and had ball on goal line.  Mullen runs down the field calls last timeout 10 secs left ball on 1 yard line.  Instead of pass play, calls option, QB stopped at 4 inch line time expires.  Could have tried two pass plays or pass first then run, with ball on goal line 10 secs left could have run 2 plays if first was pass.  Also could have spiked ball.
