After further reflection, I've decided to take a glass half full approach on this.  At least one of them will have to face the heartbreak of getting so close and then losing in the championship series.  :lol2:

I was actually dreading watching the game because, well, I hate Awbren and want them to lose every game they play (screw the SEC teams) and since 2012 Bama has had more than their fair share of problems beating OU.  I finally decided to watch part of the game last night and found myself excited when OU went up 3-0.  When the lady booger-eaters mounted a come-back in the 7th I started getting nervous.  Once OU got that final out I was then... Barn & Oklahoma play Game 2 tonight on ESPN.

OU jumped out to a 7-0 lead scoring in both the top of the 1st and top of the 2nd.  Bottom of 2nd the female booger-eaters scored a 3-run HR to push it to 7-4 with 2 outs.  OU making a pitching change.

Freshman OU pitcher hit a batter then walked the next.  Booger-eaters wound up scoring 5 in the bottom of the 2nd to make it 7-5 OU.

I bet SUPERCOACH is on the edge-of-his-seat eating popcorn watching the game.

In extra innings, Barn girl hits first pitch Grand Slam in bottom of 8th to win 11-7. Game 3 tomorrow night. Auburn behind early 7-0, then score 11 straight to win 11-7. Great game. Hey SC, see you tomorrow night.

I wasn't home.  I did turn the TV on in time to see part of the post game press conference though.

In game 3 I am hoping for a no hitter that ends in a 98 to 98 tie, with all 98 runs coming from walks.  Finally, at the end of the first inning, both teams run out of players because everyone on the team had to pitch for a little while.  Then they both decide to just forfeit and go home, leaving the title vacant for this year.

Barring that, I just hope that either Auburn or Oklahoma loses.

Maybe Yellowstone will erupt.

I'm guessing Chech would opt for one of the teams winning instead.  :lol2:

Well I don't care who wins but I am looking forward to next year because our ladies are going to be good. RTR!
