Title: Cincinnati & BYU to Big 12? Post by: Marshal Dillon on March 21, 2016, 11:27:37 PM I have heard this mentioned more than once, but Cincy? Is that just to help recruiting in Ohio & Michigan? Why not Houston, BYU, Boise State, & Cincy/Colorado State or some else to make it a 14 team conference? Cincy would add to the basketball status of the conference more than football.

Cincinnati brings a huge market with them. The Big 12 already has the Houston market. BYU actually makes sense.

Post by: McBaman on March 23, 2016, 03:11:14 PM I could see this move helping Cincy's recruiting a bit so maybe they'd be a little better team. Maybe BYU too. But prolly won't add much to overall conf strength, or putting it another way, it won't upset the current balance of power. And that's why it might go through.
