Post by: SUPERCOACH on September 05, 2011, 06:24:48 PM At one point I thought they had lost the game, but it was just a score update from the 2nd Qtr. I know Garcia didn't start. Did they just get off to a slow start because of that? What about the D? It seems like they gave up a lot of points. Or was the O helping the other team with short fields and/or turnovers?

Post by: lawzoo on September 05, 2011, 06:46:33 PM Turn overs, short field, not a very elaborate game plan, etc. It was the first time I've been in that stadium and it looked a lot like the old Fulton County Stadium on the inside but nicer of course (not much). Outside it looked great.
We opened with Southern Miss. (at home) last year and while maybe not a rout never in doubt. Maybe too over confident also. We never looked panicy though. D wasn't as good as I had expected at all but a lot of our dbs were out and we'll see. The type of O ECU runs doesn't give up a lot of sacks but "pass completed for 0-1 yds". Slants and wide screens, etc. ECU was better than I expected. Qb was pretty good. Title: Re: Hey lawzoo, what happened to USCe Saturday? As far as Atlanta rooting for the Tide too. So easy the last time. Seriously , 'Em Bengal tigers looked tough.
