If we were to compare this game tonight to our football game as to our future it would be like the NCG for the season to me. It is do or die. If we win we move up but if we lose we look forward to next season all year. Retin will be leaving and I am just not sure what we have to look forward to next year. If anybody does i wish you would share with the rest of us. RTR!

We lost to UK 77-61 in T-Town & 78-53 at UK. Not very encouraging numbers for us, but we can still do it. First and foremost, if this becomes the Obasohan dribble & shoot show, we are doomed. We must get strong performances in scoring from at least 3 players and some good D around the basket by Taylor or Hall. We have several players who can hit 3's including, Norris, Coleman, Edwards, Obasohan, & Hale. Obasohan & Coleman did excellent in driving the ball to the basket against Ole Miss then kicking the ball out to an open man to shoot. We need more of that. The scary thing for us is how players who have a good game and totally disappear for the next 2 to 3 games. This is especially true of Norris & Coleman. If we can't shoot at least 70% FT's against UK, we will bury ourselves, plus we can't get a bunch of stupid fouls early and have Hall, Norris, Taylor, or Obasohan riding the pine for a lot of the game. Winning this game is a gigantic task but we can do it if we play a near perfect game, limit turnovers, fouls, and can hit some 3's. Pretty tall order for sure.

And we have to do a much better job of rebounding than we did in the previous 2 games to them. They killed us on the boards.

Expect the arena in Nashville to be packed with rabid UK fans.

UK is the worst draw we could get. We have serious match issues with them. If they come out slow, we hit our three's and shoot 75% from the line we could do it. I certainly hope we can.

We have tickets and SEC hospitality passes to Saturday games. It would be a lot more fun if Alabama is on the floor. Beating UK would also put us back in the mix for an NCAA bid. Who knows... beat UK and we could win the whole thing.

Refs just waved off another 3 pointer by Bama. That's 4 FG we have lost.

Our guys are hustling like crazy but every time we get going the refs kill our momentum with a foul call or other type call. It's amazing.

Why don't CAJ make a fuss and stop it? RTR!

My wife just gave up on the game, too. She just couldn't take it anymore.

UK 76-55 with 4:30 left. UK has too much, especially shooters & rebounders. Just too good for us right now. We need better players, period.

Bama was playing very solid defense early but UK was just shooting lights out. We are not talented enough to take UK's best shot and that is what we got tonight. UK had one of the best shooting games I can remember.

Well I reckon BB season is over till next year but I think we will be good again. RTR!

UK shot 150% from the field.  Half of their shots went in, bounced off a Bama player's head, and then went in again.

The officiating was a joke, but UK is still a far superior team right now.

I still do not understand how the Ref's can get away with this stuff and it being a tourney. It looks to me like the Head of the league should be there and put a stop to it. Just my personal opinion on this one. RTR!
