Bama started off slow but the Bama ladies finally got their timing on the Troy pitcher in the bottom of the 3rd and it was lights out after that.
Littlejohn was the starter and winning pitcher and did a good job. She started a little slow but seemed to get in rhythm with her pitches as the game progressed. They had base runners in the first and second innings but Littlejohn had good control and pitched out of the trouble. Next up, Alabama hosts the Easton Bama Bash this weekend, welcoming No. 15 Arizona, No. 14 Tennessee and Marshall to Tuscaloosa. Action begins on Friday, Feb. 26 against the Wildcats at 6 p.m. CT. Once again scheduling conflicts are at their best this weekend with gymnastics, basketball, baseball, and softball all playing in T-town this weekend. This is tough on the fans that have season tickets for multiple sports.
