Title: Alabama Softball Continues Season at Panther Invitational in Atlanta

Bama travels to Atlanta for the Panther Invitational beginning tomorrow morning and ending Sunday morning. It will be interesting to see how the girls handle another full scheduled weekend.

Bama Ladies won two games today

1st Game: Bama 10, Miami (Oh) 2 in 6 innings

Madi Moore went the distance giving up 2 runs on 5 hits and striking out 7. 

Bama had 10 runs on 10 hits, 2 each by  Turner, Lafaele, Hawkins, Grantham, and Dare.



2nd Game: Bama 1, Maryland 0

Bama had 1 run on 5 hits, 2 by Turner and Dykes and the other by Hawkins.

Littlejohn started and went 5 1/3 giving up 2 hits while fanning 5

Osorio came in and got the last 4 outs giving up 2 hits and 3 K's


Next games: Tomorrow- Mercer at 9:00 and Ga. State at 11:30

Bama seems to be struggling at the plate when facing quality pitching but it's early in the season yet and the newcomers are getting lots of experience which they direly need to be ready for SEC play.

Your right, but the pitching appears to be solid, except for the one game against UCF. As you said, it's still early in the season. The more good pitching that they see like this, the better they'll get.
