 If they continue to improve they will be good in the SEC tourney. After this win we are going to have to win at least 2 games in the SEC tourney and we are in the big dance but I don't see us seeded higher than #13 or 14. RTR!

We will be no lower than a 10 seed if we don't self-destruct.

Unless the team implodes, which doesn't seem likely as they're getting better every game, we're in already. A strong finish and a good showing in the SEC tourney and we're a 10 seed, maybe even a 9.

Outstanding win for the Tide! I think a lot of people had conceded the games against LSU and Ky. As Corso says "Not so fast, my friend!" That is back to back huge wins on the road for Bama. I can't remember the last time they did that. They are gelling at the right time. Now it's time to finish strong!

We have a 5 game winning streak that includes 3 road wins. You may have to go back to Wimp's era to find three consecutive SEC road wins. We have 5 true road wins on the year.

Hooda thunkit midseason?

The committee likes putting power conference bubble teams as 11 seeds and placing them in the play-in game. The 12 seeds and higher are mainly reserved for small conference automatic bids.

If we win our 3 home games I think we are in. Wins on the road at UK and UGA and any SEC Tourny wins only improves are seeding.

BTW, our RPI improved to 30 with the LSU win. SOS at 12. (Per ESPN)

This is getting more fun with every win.

One thing that I have come to appreciate these last few games is that are rotation is very deep.  In past years I would cringe every time we rotated in some bench players.  Now it doesn't matter, the bench guys usually make a pretty good contribution when they are on the floor.

True dat, but we need Hale to get back to 100%.

Bingo! To do damage in the SEC & NCAA Tourney we need him, big time. His ball handling, size, and shooting are critical.

If you mean injuries, I'm not so sure that's his problem.

I think he means back in all ways, like confidence, mental toughness, health, playing ability, & attitude. That's how I see it. Hope you are at the MSU game Saturday to give us more insight into how he "looks."

I really think if we finish extra strong, say 20-10, & win 2 in SEC Tourney, we can be a 7 seed. The 8/9 seed is a trap, if you win, then you face the #1 Seed. I would rather be a 10 or 11 seed than an 8/9.

No doubt about it. The stronger our finish the better our seeding. In your scenario we would finish 22-11. The committee looks at your overall body of work but also looks at how you are playing at the end of the season heading into Tournament time. We would finish 11-2 with losses to Kentucky and on Saturday to a good team in the SEC semi-final. That could push us higher than a 7 IMO.

It is great to even be having these discussions in CAJ first year that everyone wrote off as a rebuilding year. 

No doubt he has set the bar high, CNS style, now comes the hard part of sustaining what he has started. I have no doubts of him accomplishing that either.

With CAJ's pedigree and a full year of recruiting under his belt, I guarantee there are some recruits taking notice.

I wonder if our mindset is going to be to play hard for 40 minutes against Miss St.? If we can win aghainst them we are having a record worth the seeding thoughts of some of the others. I still right now can not see us above a #12 seed as yet. I would like to see where some of the others thing we could be a bit higher. RTR!
