Title: NCAA punishes former Ole Miss coach Saunders, ULL
Post by: Jamos on January 31, 2016, 08:11:00 AM
The committee found that Saunders helped five recruits receive fraudulent ACT scores at Wayne County High, lied to the NCAA about his involvement and failed to cooperate with an investigation. He also gave a total of $6,500 to a player over two semesters while at Louisiana-Lafayette, the committee said.

This happened about two weeks ago so it isn't old news. With all of the speculation of what has been happening at Ole Miss and their football program you have to wonder what role this coach might have had when he was there. When they mention ACT scores, money and lying, it kind of fits in with what a lot of folks are thinking is going on over at Oxford these days. Does he have a past connection to any of this when he was at Ole Miss?
