Title: Avery Johnson discusses Bama basketball and it's game today
Post by: Jamos on January 30, 2016, 07:21:26 AM
Waiting in Columbia is a South Carolina team the Crimson Tide dominated 73-50 on Jan. 13, ending a perfect 15-0 start to the season. The Gamecocks (18-2, 5-2 SEC) have lost once more since then while Alabama (11-8, 2-5 SEC) has just one win since that night.

USCe has an impressive 18-2 5-2 SEC record but if you did deeper they did it with smoke and mirrors. They have played one game against a team with a top 50 RPI. That was a 73-50 loss to #44 Alabama. Their SOS is #213 as opposed to our #14. Their best wins are #56 Vandy and #96 Ole Miss. Their other SEC wins were against Auburn, Missouri and Miss St.

I do not think it will be easy to be them in Columbia but I think we match up well with them. I like like our chance of getting a much needed road win.
