I had forgotten that was today. I was 8 years old and I remember crying about it when our principal came into our class room and told us.  :'(

Worked third shift at the time.  My then wife woke me up with the news.  I thanked her for ruining my day.  She went on to ruin 8 more years.

I lived in a trailer in a trailer park over in Georgia and had just got home from work when I heard the news. My whole inside gut just crumbled. It was sad. RTR!

Was living in Ft Pierce, Fl at the time. Mrs 2 and I were visiting a friend of hers and we saw the news watching TV. I immediately teared up. Our friend looked at Mrs 2 and asked "Was that his dad or something?" Mrs 2 replied "Might as well have been".
