I thought it was a given that he'd leave after this season. It was the talk since September. But now it appears we may keep him: woot. Bottom line: I thought he was gone. I can't envision Kelly being the head coach and not calling the offense. I would think that Kiffin and Kelly would clash.

It's hard to beat the job satisfaction of coaching on a NC winning staff. And I always think that living in Tuscaloosa grows on folks who don't know about it. Maybe Layla and the kids really like it there. Just sayin..... True enough but there is one thing more satisfying than being "on a NC winning staff" and that is being the HC of said staff. Every football coach in the history of football has had the arrogance to believe that their system was the best and would bring them the championship. I think Kiffin is likely no different, just become more patient...It's hard to beat the job satisfaction of coaching on a NC winning staff.
