Alabama never wins at Vandy.  They're playing decently today, but need to do more to win.

Ugh. Why on earth do we always have so much trouble playing there? I blame the benches being lower than the floor and on the end of the court.  :facepalm:

A season that started so well is quickly spiraling into another NIT year.  Starting SEC play with road games at Ole Miss (opening their new arena) and Vandy with a home game against Kentucky wasn't going to be easy, but Bama was more than capable winning all three of those games and haven't gotten the job done.  Brighter days are ahead.  It's frustrating seeing this team not play well consistently.

 Bama has a terrible record playing in their arena.

Bama looked pretty bad and I blame the free throw shooting for the most part. I know CAJ has his hands full trying to build this team from what Grant left him but shooting free throws should be one of the easier things to fix. I complained about the poor rebounding after the Kentucky game and they have done better since so maybe my complaining tonight about the free throw shooting will get good results too.  :pray:

One thing I saw that happen today that makes me feel even worse. Auburn beat Kentucky. I will find the link if I can but I saw it on espn.

Good pre-conf season, then bomb out in SEC play.  And still too many missed FTs.

This is starting to look like the same-old same-old...just in different wrapping paper.

Good:
Points in the paint Bama 38 - Vandy 16

Bad:
Three point shooting. We were 6/19 but Edwards hit 3 in the last minute with the game already decided. We shot poorly from the field and even worse at the FT line.

We only caused 7 Vandy turnovers.

We knew we had work to do coming into the season. It is hard to retrain from old habits so after 5 to 8 years of bad habits it will take some time to get them corrected. RTR!

I saw a graphic at the beginning of the game that said the last time we beat a top 25 team before this year was 5 years ago.  This year we have beaten 3 so far.

CAJ will get these boys playing better.  I think we make it to the tournament this year.

Good points. 
And don't forget, it's tough to win on that STUPID Vandy gym with the elevated floor.  Worst pacle in the SEC.

We have lost some conference games, but the player development is there for everyone to see.  Taylor, who is left handed, has made some pretty good plays in the paint with his right hand recently, for example.
