USC starts 3 seniors & 2 juniors. Big, tough, experienced team with a good coach in Frank Martin. Their frontline is 6'11", 6'7", & 6'5". Jimmy Taylor, Kessens, & Hale have to show up tonight.

We may get blown out but I am still a fan of my young men no matter. CAJ will teach them a lot tonight and we will grow. RTR!

I hope the players studied the Kentucky film after that loss, there was much to learn. I give Kentucky a lot of credit though with their defense, Bama had no idea of what to do with the ball when they got it. It was the worst shooting game that they have had this year. This is good stuff for the young ones though, they will only get better.

South Carolina won't be any easier but there's a possibility that Bama might match up better with their style of play. This is only a guess but let's hope it has some fact to it. RTR!!!

We have to be strong under the basket or we will be eaten alive or else we have to shoot over 50% from the floor.

Now we've doubled 'em up, no Norris drills another 3 pointer from way behind the line 48 to 22 now.  They are scoring faster than I can type.  This is so much fun to watch.

That game was so much fun to watch.  It has been a long time since I stood up out of my chair and got in front of the TV watching a basketball game, but I did exactly that several times last night.  When that little 14 year old white boy walk on hit that 3 pointer at the end from almost half court I thought the building was going to collapse.  :lol2:

Attendance was 12,400.

It was a great win last night. The students made a big difference in the crowd support, something that has been missing in Coleman for a few years.

You can say what you want, but Riley Norris is the best player on Bama's team right now. All season he has been "Mr. Steady" with his rebounding and scoring and he seems to be getting better with each game. This is what CAJ has needed most, a player that the others will look up to. Obasohan has given a lot of effort to be that lead player as well and he and Riley could make a great leadership combination for the others. I wish Obasohan was a sophomore as Riley is.

This was only one game though and I don't want to get too overzealous about what is happening with the team but it sure gives me some positive hope for the future.

Isn't it wonderful to have some positive things to discuss when we talk Bama basketball anymore. ;)

After consecutive SEC losses this was an important win.  The team needed to get some positive energy back for themselves and the fans, and they did in a big way.

I look forward to seeing how we do as each game is played and see the learning factor we carry from one game to another. CAJ I think will be a great teacher when he gets his own people on board but right now to see how he improves what is in front of him is going to be educational for me. RTR!
