Nobody is saying why yet.

Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox is currently the only known suspension.  
JUST RUMORS so far.

Just saw another tweet that says 10 is too high. I guess we find out when game starts.

Saw that too.  Still no word on why, except denials that animals were involved.  :eyeroll: :eyeroll: :eyeroll:

About he players. Miss. St. traveled on a bus to Memphis and arrived last night around 9 PM. Does anyone know if the players were suspended in Tennessee or in Starkville?

Anybody watching the MSU vs MSU game?  I can't believe there's an empty stadium in Memphis.  The kickoff is right now, and the stadium seems to have only about 20,000 people in it.  What gives?

I have DirecTV, but not Fox Sports South. According to the menu channel 635 is showing the state game but I am not subscribed. I use to have it.

That is why I am watching Wisconsin. But yeah, SEC SEC SEC!

Memphis has 2 first downs, 4 punts, 4 penalties for 25 yards (in reverse), and 50 yards of offense.
MSU has 193 yards in one quarter.

Wisconsin is killing UNLV 27-0. UNLV had a good team last year. Oh well, Kentucky is on soon. I can't listen to Craig James long anyway.

UM is still trying to find something they can do with success.  It's not football.

Louisville 21 -Murray State 9. 2;37 left. It was 21-3 halftime. Murray state's defense showed up the second half. 7 points for Louisville came early in game from  a turnover. Otherwise Murray state played well.

Looked like it was too easy for Louisville at first.  Murray State never quit trying.

Same story at Memphis.  Memphis hasn't gotten a first down in the 2nd Q.  Score still 24-0. 
Memphis has the ball at their own 3.

Final: Louisville 21- Murray State 9.

Kentucky and Western Kentucky in first no score. They are playing in Nashville at Titans' stadium. Nashville is my favorite town to go see concerts. Last year I carried my son to see Neil Young at the original Grand Ole Opry - Ryman. Then went back to see Dylan.

No. The GOO opened late last year. Those floods from April 2010 damaged it bad. GOO reopened for Christmas last year. I like Ryman auditorium better. It is small, like an old church with a balcony. There is such a history at the Ryman it is a museium with guided tours and the list of entertainers that have played there reads like a who's who of the music world..

Or maybe talentless.

I emailed Schabach 4 years ago after he wrote a hit piece on Saban. He emailed me back and wanted to know why I felt that way. I emailed him back and forth. After 3-4 emails each we under stood each other. I haven't emailed him since then. He is young, but has learned to write articles that are enjoyable to read. He was at the boogers plains last Saturday. Then he drove down to Orange Beach to the Flor-Bama. Then Sunday he went deep sea fishing out of Orange beach and caught some nice King Mackeral. He knows why we love living in the south.

Memphis update:  UM took the ball after halftime to within field-goal range, but missed it.

KY back from the dead.  Get an int, then score.  KY 7   WKU 3.

Kentucky just scored. Kentucky  7 WKU 3.

MSU just scored (again) too.  38-7.

Memphis defense quit.  52-14 after an 80-yd pass and run.

We can start pulling for State to beat those booger eating morons. Go state, go state, go state. Beat the hell out of those pay to play cheaters. RTR!

It could happen.  But Memphis wasn't much of a test.  MSU 59-14 now.  I'd guessed 55-8.  :(

Western Kentuky was 2-10 last year and UK scored 63 points on them last year. UK is really making the SEC look good right now.
