Title: Re: "Ex-A&M, Bama coach resigning at Texas State" Post by: pmull on December 23, 2015, 02:40:35 PM I was an Oklahoma fan on this day when the Sooners hung 77 on Coach Fraud. I wonder if he was still holding the rope after that beat down. The Oklahoma band practiced the Alabama fight song that entire week so they could welcome him to A&M.

I was reading a negative article about him. One guy in the comment section said he thought Fran would be a big winner since he had just completed a 10 win season at Alabama when A&M hired him. He went on to say "apparently anyone can win 10 games at Bama". Shula had just done it as well as every other Bama coach since Coach Bryant.
