Title: **Lawyer: Jordan Jefferson wants to play** Post by: Coach Hank Crisp on August 30, 2011, 08:05:14 AM http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/6908068/lawyer-lsu-tigers-qb-jordan-jefferson-ask-reinstatement
Quote BATON ROUGE, La. -- Jordan Jefferson's lawyer says he will ask LSU and coach Les Miles on Tuesday to consider lifting the quarterback's indefinite suspension while the legal process plays out in the case of a recent bar brawl allegedly involving numerous LSU players. "It is more than unjust to destroy this young man's career if it's all about a bunch of nothing, which is what I think," defense attorney Lewis Unglesby said Monday. Unglesby said he does not want to tell Miles how to discipline players, only to make the case that the arrest warrant police obtained for Jefferson is without merit and by itself should not be allowed to ruin his senior season I don't think Miles will let Jefferson play. Jarret Lee is a senior and will start. Title: Re: **Lawyer: Jordan Jefferson wants to play** Post by: pmull on August 30, 2011, 08:09:17 AM No way Jefferson plays.
Pat Dye was on PF yesterday and he said he expects this problem to bring the LSU team together. I had not looked at it that way but I guess it is possible. It won't be enough. Title: Re: **Lawyer: Jordan Jefferson wants to play** Post by: Coach Hank Crisp on August 30, 2011, 08:19:49 AM There was an article out of NOLA stating that Jefferson might could redshirt this season. And this of course would depend how his legal problems go.
Title: Re: **Lawyer: Jordan Jefferson wants to play** Post by: ricky023 on August 30, 2011, 10:06:44 AM Jefferson don't really want to play. I know he don't because if he did he would not have brought curfew, and he would would not have been fighting in bars. He seems from appearance to be a drunk possibily? I don't know but if not why was he there? I hope he does not get to play he should watch his teammates suffer without him. JMHPO! RTR!

Title: Re: **Lawyer: Jordan Jefferson wants to play** Post by: Marshal Dillon on August 30, 2011, 02:36:43 PM I wonder what happens if Jarrett Lee looks bad and LSU loses ugly to Oregon? I wonder if we see the return of Jefferson with the usual lame excuses for why he is being reinstated. Going to be an interesting game, can't wait to watch it.
:popcorn2: Title: Re: **Lawyer: Jordan Jefferson wants to play** Post by: rueben on August 30, 2011, 03:37:21 PM The curfew thing was only there because they coaches would look bad if they lift it. Over 50 players broke curfew that night. The coaches know dang well that the players are going to break it. It's a tradition. And I bet you the very same thing goes on, on a lot other campuses too. (we must be careful when we point fingers, when we point one at others, we have four more pointing back at us.) I can promise you there were many (1st string) players from Bama who went out the last night of 2-a-days. Granted, they did it without kicking anyone in the face, but they were out also. We all figure out, sometime after the age of 30, that nothing good happens after midnight. But I will be the first to admit, I walked out of many clubs with the sun up and in full view. I was young and living in Louisiana, at the time.

Title: Re: **Lawyer: Jordan Jefferson wants to play** Post by: McBaman on August 30, 2011, 09:27:41 PM The police took all those shoes (50 someting pairs was it??) from Jefferson's apartment. If they find a blood match to the victim of the assault, then Jordan J is in deep caca, and could be redshirting behind bars.
