Title: Re: Duron Carter tweets "Finally Post by: ricky023 on August 29, 2011, 10:58:33 AM Ummm, CNS said he would believe it when he saw it, rofl, so do I then. RTR!
Title: Re: Duron Carter tweets "Finally Post by: Chechem on August 29, 2011, 11:03:05 AM It's true. His prof finally relented.
Title: Re: Duron Carter tweets "Finally Post by: Coach Hank Crisp on August 29, 2011, 11:10:38 AM Any way he is ready by Penn State? Maybe, but I wouldn't think so. Learning the plays and how to block in 2 weeks is not very long. Special teams is a possibility. Title: Re: Duron Carter tweets "Finally Post by: SeniorTSM on August 29, 2011, 11:12:10 AM Yeah Coach I think he may get some snaps, maybe a 3rd down WR. IDK

Title: Re: Duron Carter tweets "Finally Post by: rueben on August 29, 2011, 11:36:13 AM Neeeooooo! Glad he will be able to finally get started, but for CNS to let him play after everyone else has been busting their butts for fall camp and weekly practice, might not be good for team chemistry.

Maybe, by game 4, but we'll see. Quote Duron Carter arrives at his first Alabama football practice Published: Monday, August 29, 2011, 4:00 PM Updated: Monday, August 29, 2011, 4:03 PM TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- Duron Carter finally arrived at Alabama practice Monday afternoon as witnessed during the Crimson Tide's media viewing period. Carter resolved a transcript issue that delayed his transfer to Alabama forcing him to miss the entire preseason and summer workouts. He barely beat the deadline to enroll, which was Wednesday. Carter has lived in Tuscaloosa since July, and has stayed sharp working closely with his father, ESPN analyst and former NFL wide receiver Cris Carter. The younger Carter was admitted to Alabama on Monday, according to a source. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Carter comes to Alabama via Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College where he caught 44 passes for 690 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. He previously played at Ohio State where his father was a star wide receiver. It isn't like Carter has been sitting around doing nothing -- he has been working out with his Dad getting ready, and you won't find a better WR coach than Chris Carter.
