Looks like I quick picked N. Illinois earlier this week.  After looking at their records, though, I'd probably take Bowling Green and give the points.  Too late.

Edwards transferring in has been huge.  Gives us an experienced player who can shoot, helping build momentum for the rebuild even though he'll only be here a year.

He has been wild in almost every game this year. LOTS of missed 3's.

53-46 Tide. We have been up & down all game long. S. Miss is a bad team.

Coleman out-of-control (again) & turns over ball at critical time. 58-53 Tide.

Bama wins in a pretty ugly game, but on the road, 58-55.

Ugly or not it was a road win which seemed almost impossible for the team in the past few years. I was wondering how the team would play after the Notre Dame win and wasn't too surprised with their play. This team is young and will go through many more mental challenges before the season is over. As in all sports, the toughest challenges are the big underdogs.

You're right, J. A road win is huge for this team, against anybody, especially after coming off 2 big wins against WSU and ND.

I thought the worst part of their game was the last minute or so of the game. They lost their intensity and seemed to play not to lose rather than playing to win which made the game too close for comfort.

I am happy to get a road win regardless of how ugly it was. We are 5-2 with our RPI climbing and our SOS is solid.

My concern last night is only 5 players scored points. Obasohan (20), Edwards (17), Hale (9), Ingram (5) and Coleman (7) made up all our scoring. Taylor, Kessens and Riley did not score and played a lot of minutes. B Austin and D Hall also did not score.

We are off due to finals until the 13th when we travel to play Clemson. Clemson is 5-2 against a really weak schedule. A road win over an ACC team will look good on the resume.

Let me help you out. The good is we won on the road and Obasohan/Edwards scoring a combined 37 points. Everything else was ugly.
